Emergency tree service is of course something you never hope to need, but it’s a fact of life at some point for many homeowners and business owners. Don’t trust any other company in Northern Virginia to handle your emergency tree service more safely and efficiently than the experts at Absolute Tree, Inc. This is our livelihood and we take every precaution to protect your home and its belongings as well as our staff members – that’s why we use cranes to remove any hazardous trees. 
We all know the weather can be very unpredictable in our area of the country. Last year was a very busy summer storm season, for example, and they seem to get worse as the summer months progress. And we’re of course not immune to those vicious bursts of winter storms, either. Yes, the city will take care of tree, limb and branch removal if they fall into city streets and public rights of way. And the city also will take care of it if a city tree has fallen onto private property – although certainly using our emergency tree service in that case will get the job done faster.
But any trees or limbs that grow on private property and have fallen on private property are the responsibility of the homeowner. So if that large oak in your yard is teetering after a thunderstorm, it’s not going to be removed unless you hire emergency tree service. You also are obligated to do the same if you tree is in a dangerous state when it comes to another person’s home or property.
We ask that no amateurs handle any types of emergency tree service, even if you don’t hire us. It’s very dangerous, both to you and your property. For example, many people are hurt just climbing a ladder to reach a high spot on a tree. And once you are up there and attempt to cut off a large branch, the blowback from the chainsaw can cause a major accident. Also, cutting a branch in the wrong place can cause it to fall somewhere you might not have expected. That’s why all our emergency tree service is done by a professionally trained crew from a crane. Some other tree services might just attach themselves to the tree and climb, but we believe the extra cost we incur (not the customer) of having a crane is worth the safety for you and us. And we’ve never had an accident on the job, to person or property. You should also be aware that if you hire an unlicensed “contractor” to handle any tree work on your property that you can be held legally liable if that person is injured on the job. We are fully licensed and insured.
Also know that the city limits the weight and size of any potential tree debris that it will haul away – for example, no logs or stumps, no branches larger than 3 inches in diameter and a 70-pound limit per bundle. Even if you can hit all the city requirements, that’s a lot of work! Of course all of our emergency tree service includes full debris removal.
